Administrative Assistant

Experienced Administrative Assistant for large manufacturing company. Primary duties include assistant to plant manager, coordination, logistics, processing vendor invoices, including the validation of customer information, shipment information and more. Responding to internal and external customer requests professionally. To be successful, candidate must have strong organization, be persistence, with a focus on customer service to provide an excellent experience and working within and across diverse teams in the organization.
Additional duties of the position include:
Answer phones and provide customer and company support.
Work closely with plant manager, develop strong relationships with customers and vendors.
Ensure daily, weekly and monthly deadlines are met.
Position Specific Competencies/Skills Required:
Experience in all aspects of office duties including billing, data entry and basic accounting.
Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented, problem solver/analytical, flexible and self-motivated.
Strong knowledge and comfort with computerized order management / billing systems.
Organized, ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Work well independently and as a team player.
4+ years' experience in operations, customer service, billing and accounting.
Microsoft Office, Word & Excel skills required.
Bilingual helpful, not required.
Hours 8 to 5 pm some overtime required occasionally.
Office environment, business casual dress code.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
