The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing potential candidates.
The ideal candidate will also work within the Safety Department and must be knowledgeable with DOT rules.
The canidate must have excellent communication skills, a passion for finding the right fit for each position, and the ability to quickly build trust with potential candidates.
Responsibilities:
Source and recruit qualified candidates for open positions.
Conduct initial phone screens with potential candidates.
Conduct reference checks on potential candidates.
Negotiate job offers and salary packages.
Assist with the administration and management of credential checks and upcoming expirations.
Ensure appropriate collection of information, documentation of events, and reporting per company policy for collisions and incidents, risky behavior events or other safety concerns.
Assist the Safety Manager in the complete and accurate documentation of safety activities and the accurate completion of all related records.
