We are seeking detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerks to join our team.
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This position also requires at least 5 years AP experience, excel reconcilliation and Quick Books experience.
Duties:
- Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures - Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents - Verify invoice coding and obtain necessary approvals - Prepare and process weekly check runs - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable - Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions - Assist with other accounting duties as assigned Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred - Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role - Strong understanding of basic accounting principles - Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Quick Books - Familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping and account reconciliation processes - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines If you meet the requirements for this position and are interested in joining our team, please submit your resume for consideration.
