Job Description This position is based in a Co-Manufacturing location in Central Florida.
This role provides the overall leadership for the on-site Coca-Cola team and builds a robust partnership with the PRCP Coman team.
The Operations Director is responsible for providing parallel direction to PRCP for the overall management and leadership of the plant operations, including plant administration.
This role requires strong relationship building and involves collaborative oversight and management of various operational aspects such as production, maintenance/engineering, warehousing, quality, and continuous improvement.
The Ops Director will assist the Plant GM to develop initiatives to achieve performance, quality, and additional standards while ensuring manufacturing goals are met.
What You'll Do for Us In partnership with the PRCP Coman, provide leadership to drive the following activities:
Select, supervise, and develop plant personnel.
Provide direct reports with leadership, direction, and coaching to achieve work objectives and improve performance and skills.
Ensure plant is compliant with all federal, stated, regulatory and Company policies and procedures.
Manage and escalate customer service issues and improvements.
Monitor all Company, Federal and State communications/audits and implement any necessary changes.
Develop strategies for implementing The Coca-Cola Management System to ensure product quality and food safety as defined by Company requirements.
Develop process improvement initiatives to benefit the Coca-Cola/PRCP partnership by directing supply chain activities, involving external suppliers, functional peers, account teams and/or cross-functional teams.
Analyze performance data to identify business plan variances using established systems and ad-hoc problem solving.
Investigate and identify root causes of any facility safety or security incident or environmental regulation non-compliance to prevent reoccurrence of similar incident at same or other facilities.
Inspect facility (e.
g.
, production, warehouse, service/installation) to assure adherence to safety and operating policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) using Company policies and procedures.
Maintain product, packaging and material inventory/availability using demand forecasts, historical orders, and software tools to support the operations plans and customer demand of the plant.
Identify and recommend improvements to supply chain metrics and performance standards using research, supplier relationships, industry knowledge and best practices to secure benefits for the Coca-Cola/PRCP partnership (e.
g.
, cost savings, new technologies and innovations, operating efficiencies).
Develop analytical tools and reports (e.
g.
, staffing models, rate models, procurement models, inventory models, stewardship models) to manage supply chain performance.
Review plant production equipment environment (e.
g.
, technology, systems, quality, cost, efficiencies, yield) to recommend process improvements.
Monitor feedback mechanisms for business issues (e.
g.
, metrics are met, problems are addressed, modifications and/or improvements are captured and integrated) to ensure product quality and consistency.
Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Food Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
10
years' experience in previous plant leadership as well as; technical area such as R&D product development, laboratory management, quality systems, and/or engineering background.
Establish strong and effective relationships with site leaders and employees through interpersonal, communication and relationship skills.
Knowledge of statistics, including fundamental analyses with the ability to demonstrate proven analytical skills resulting in decision making that protects the customer, consumer, and the brand.
Knowledge of statistical databases such as InfinityQA preferable.
Strong working knowledge with Quality Systems and implementation of Quality Systems.
Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points (HACCP) trained / Package Quality Index (PCQI) trained preferable.
Strong working knowledge of Quality Assurance Principles and Food safety Previous experience with project management, continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma Knowledge of manufacturing and process controls for beverage ingredient and packaging Protect information provided in confidence from outside sources (bottlers and other business partners) and ensure this information is not disseminated to those not directly involved.

Build and develop relationships with peers and others to exchange feedback on product/service issues, identify and/or solve problems, assess needs, and/or achieve business results.
